Dr. Stephan Kloess has been a member of the Investment Committee, and its Chairman, since 2017.
He has 20 years of experience in the real estate investment market, including establishing real estate organisations for institutional investors, accompanying transactions and restructuring institutional portfolios.
Marçal Decoppet joined the Foundation Board in 2016. He has held the post of managing director of Fondation de Prévoyance des Paroisses et Institutions Catholiques (FPPIC) in Lausanne since november 2017.
Before that, Marçal Decoppet worked in managing positions in the pension industry at the Copré (‘La Collective de Prévoyance’), Fédération des Entreprises Romandes Genève and CIEPP (Caisse Inter-Entreprise de Prévoyance Professionnelle). On top of this, he was managing director of the Fondation de prévoyance Edipresse (Edipresse pension foundation) in Lausanne. He has over 25 years of experience in the pension sector.
Marçal Decoppet gained the SIU Management Diploma and holds a Swiss Federal Diploma as social insurance expert as well as the Swiss Federal Certificate as administrative expert for pension plans and the Swiss Federal Certificate for private insurance, personal insurance.
Bardo Magel is joining the Management Committee as Global Head of Asset Management with effect from December 2014.
He will be responsible for managing investment properties, securing a sound financial strategy and - as a member of the Management Committee - for professionally implementing the strategic targets set by the Foundation Board. Bardo Magel heads up global Asset Management with teams in Zurich, New York and Sydney.
He was previously Head of Transactions at Corpus Sireo Investment Management in Luxembourg where he was responsible for managing two pan-European real estate investment funds. Prior to this he was responsible for a worldwide portfolio of over 200 office, retailing, logistics and hotel properties worth a total of 20 billion euros at Commerz Real AG.
He has acquired his practical real estate skills through many years of international experience in the fields of asset management, acquisition and transaction management, and his theoretical knowledge by graduating in real estate management on an executive education program at the business and law school EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht in Wiesbaden, Germany and by qualifying as a real estate professional.
Damian Tobler has been working as Of Counsel for KENDRIS LTD since 2026 and serves on boards of directors and foundation boards. Prior to this, whilst at KENDRIS LTD, he held a position at executive level where, in addition to internal duties, he advised national and international clients on finance, accounting, reporting and governance. He also worked as a management consultant at PwC and subsequently held the position of process insourcer for asset managers, family offices and fund managements at a specialised company.
Professor em. Dr. Alfred Storck has been Vice President of the Foundation Board since 2014.
The post-doctoral economist is emeritus honorary professor of Business Studies, specialising in Taxation and Corporate Financing, at the University of St. Gallen (ACA Institute). He has held a visiting professorship at the WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business) for International Corporate Tax Law and Transfer Pricing since 2009.
Prior to his university activities, Alfred Storck was Deputy Head of Finance and Head of Finance and Taxes at ABB where his area of responsibility also included the global pension management.
