Marcel Metry, Member of the Foundation Board
Marcel Metry joined the Foundation Board in 2026.
He has been Head of Asset Management and a member of the BVK Executive Board since July 2023. At BVK, he has held management positions since 2011, initially as Head of Real Assets & Investment Processes and as Deputy Head of Asset Management.
Marcel Metry started his professional career at Wegelin & Co. Private Bankers, where his roles included portfolio manager for institutional clients in Switzerland and member of the Executive Board.
Alongside his regular work, he is also a member of the Board of Directors of Urner Kantonalbank and chairs the Audit and Risk Committee. In addition, he is a member of the Board of Directors of SVVK-ASIR.
Marcel Metry holds a Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) and a Diploma of Advanced Studies (DAS) in Pension Fund Management from Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, as well as a degree in Economics from the University of St. Gallen.
