Stefan Schädle, Member of the Investment Committee
Stefan Schädle has been a member of the Investment Committee since 2008.
Stefan Schädle, Dipl. Arch. ETH/SIA, MRICS, was born in 1963 in Zurich. After high school he studied architecture at the ETH (Federal Technical University) in Zurich. He subsequently took a postgraduate degree in economics at the St Gallen Management College. Until 1999 he ran an architectural and urban planning practice. At the same time he served as a construction expert with the EMPA research center for materials science and technology. From 1999 to 2003 he was a real estate consultant with Ernst & Young AG in the audit, real estate advisory services and corporate finance divisions. As a board member of the Zurich Cantonal Bank he ran its real estate valuation and consultancy division from 2003 to 2007. Since then Stefan Schädle has been Head of Real Estate Management and board member at BVK, the staff pension scheme for the Canton of Zurich. He is responsible for strategic real estate management. In addition he is a lecturer on various degree courses.
